Canton: August 27. Elevation normal, water 81 and clear. White bass and striped bass hybrids good drifting shad and slabs. Channel catfish good on shad and grasshoppers in the upper end of the lake. Walleye fair drifting night crawlers and slabs. Report submitted by Mark Walker, game warden stationed in Blaine County.

August 30. Elevation normal. Channel catfish fair on stinkbait and cut bait all

Great Salt Plains: The fishery is recovering and anglers are catching walleye and channel catfish.
