11: Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Public Hearing, 1801 N Lincoln Blvd, OKC. Hearing starts at 7 p.m.

11: Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Public Hearing for fisheries rules only, Miami Civic Center, 129 5th Ave NW, Banquet Room, Miami. Hearing starts at 7 p.m.

12: Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Public Hearing for fisheries rules only, OSU Extension Office, 2200 NE 1st Street (Mayes County Fairgrounds), Pryor. Hearing starts at 7 p.m.

12: Predator calling program will be presented at Bass Pro Shops in Broken Arrow at 7 p.m. Joe Bradshaw of Arkyyoter Game Calls will cover Coyote calling, Scott Ruff will discuss Bobcat calling and Travis Alzate will review Coyote Vocalizations. Both the Oklahoma and National Predator Hunter Associations will be represented , and the program is free and open to the public. Contact Scott Ruff at (918) 931-1034.

17: Oklahoma Station Safari Club International Youth Benefit Trophy Room Tour. Visit two of the most outstanding trophy rooms in Oklahoma. Reservations required by January 13. Cost $50 per person and limited to 90 people. 28: Dolese Trout Fishing Clinic at Putnam City High School-Old Gymnasium (1/2 block west of NW 50th Street and Meridian Ave.) Clinic starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs until 9:00 p.m. For more information contact Bob Martin, Oklahoma City H.B. 30: Robert L. Hutchins Chapter of Ducks Unlimited in Lawton will host a Waterfowl Hunters Party at the Great Plains Coliseum Annex. Doors will be open at 6 p.m. and the cost is $25 per person. We will serve a BBQ Wild Pig Dinner and will raffle off dozens and dozens of duck and goose decoys, blinds, bags, and several weapons. Much different format than our annual banquet in the spring. Last year’s event was a huge success and enjoyed by all. Tickets are available thru the DU website (go to EVENTS) or by calling me at 580-429-8274.
