2-3: Free Fishing Days. No state fishing license or permits
required. Some city permits may still apply.
2: 2nd Annual Clifford Stevens Memorial Trail Ride to benefit the Clifford Stevens Memorial Scholarship at Craighead/Daube Ranches. Clifford was an ODWC employee who was kill on duty in 1995 in a motor vehicle accident. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University before becoming a wildlife technician. This endowed scholarship was created to help wildlife students at SEOSU. Starts at 10 a.m. registration is 8-9:45 and costs $20 if you preregister or $25 at the gate. 9: OKNAVHDA Training Day. OKNAVHDA is the local chapter to NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) and conducts monthly dog training events including Upland Field work, Waterfowl Retrieving, and Tracking. We welcome guests to come out and see what our training days are all about.
