1: The 3rd annual Clifford Stevens Memorial Trail Ride.  The benefit trail ride will be held on private property in the Criner Hills area near Ardmore, Oklahoma Clifford, who was an employee of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) was killed while on duty in 1995 in a motor vehicle accident. 3: The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Regular Commission Meeting. Meetings are held monthly at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Building (auditorium), 1801 N. Lincoln, Oklahoma City, OK at 9:00 am

10 - 14: Alabaster Caverns State Park will be offering a five-day-long science camp (Mission: Exploration - A Science Experience) It is geared toward those students who are passing into the 7th and 8th grades. The camp will be limited to only twenty students; ten male and ten female. The all-inclusive tuition will be $200 (meals, learning materials, and camp T-shirt included). Its purpose is to give middle school students the opportunity to explore some of the unique natural ecosystems we have in a setting that will enhance the student's ability to learn and retain the information available. The classes offered at the Camp include astronomy, macro-invertebrates, geology, cave formation and safety, water conservation, animal adaptations, native plants, Oklahoma weather and storm tracking, bats of Oklahoma and bird habitats & identification.
