1-2: Oklahoma Free Hunting days. For Oklahoma residents, a
hunting license and HIP permit are not required.
3: Holiday - State Offices Closed.
4: The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Regular
Commission Meeting. Meetings are held monthly at the Oklahoma
Department of Wildlife Conservation Building (auditorium), 1801
N. Lincoln, Oklahoma City, OK at 9:00 am.
15: The Nature Center located at the Watchable Wildlife Area will be open from 9 am – 3 pm. The biologist on duty will be happy to visit with visitors about wildlife in the area or take a walk with you on the nature trail. Hours will be 9 am to 3 pm.
15: OKNAVHDA Training Day. OKNAVHDA is the local chapter to NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) and conducts monthly dog training events including Upland Field work, Waterfowl Retrieving, and Tracking. We welcome guests to come out and see what our training days are all about.
