Step 10: What Now?

Applicants not chosen to participate will not be notified.

Hunters chosen to participate will receive the necessary instructions in the mail, including the date and location of the hunt. All participants must be properly licensed. All maps and hunt information will be available online, and will not be mailed. Successful applicants may print this information by viewing their results and paying required fees.
 

 

What Happens After the Drawing?


Applicants may check to see if they were selected for a controlled hunt beginning July 10, 2013. Printed lists will not be available. Computer terminals are available to check the drawing results at most local libraries and will be available to the public at the following ODWC offices, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted: Unfortunately, we cannot answer telephone inquiries regarding controlled hunt outcomes.

What happens if I'm Drawn?


Successful applicants will receive notification by mail. Those drawn may have fees due for additional licenses and/or user fees. These may be paid online anytime after July 10 through the payment deadline. Fees may be paid with a Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card.

Hunt information will be immediately available online once fees are paid. Successful applicants will need to access and print off their specific hunt instructions and maps from the controlled hunts website once all appropriate fees are paid.

These items will not be mailed.

What happens if I'm not drawn?


Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified by mail, but will be awarded a preference point which will increase their odds of drawing a hunt the next time they apply.
