2002 Winter Bird Survey Results

The American goldfinch was seen in the greatest numbers during the count, however, northern cardinals were found at the greatest number of feeders (just not in large numbers). Common grackles were only found at about 30 feeders, but several observers reported very large numbers. House finches continue to grow in abundance.
