Fishing Report

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Additional Information:
Lake Tenkiller is normal with bass fishing for fish in and under the 13-16" slot reported as good. However, big fish are getting harder to find with best results night fishing using bigger worms and baits. No good reports on crappie or catfish which have finished spawning, but be pole ready for surfacing sandbass. Noodlers looking for flathead are still seeing fish on the nest. Have fun! Brady May

Due to the hot weather conditions these past few weeks fishing has been somewhat slow. However, fishing should improve as more moderate temps are in the forecast this week.

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted.
Have fun! Brady May
