ODWC's TV show, Outdoor Oklahoma showcases the best of hunting, fishing, and wildlife diversity in our great state. We document Oklahoman's stories of hunting, fishing, or just enjoying the outdoors, where you, the outdoor enthusiast, is the star. We also feature ODWC's expert biologists, game warden's, and employees helping make our state an outdoor destination, and a pinnacle in conservation

Outdoor Oklahoma has aired on OETA for over 45 years and we are proud of our partnership with Oklahoma's premiere public broadcast station. We also air on various low power small municipal stations in Guthrie, Stillwater, and Enid.

2016 Season of Outdoor Oklahoma

Video Description:
The 2016 Season of Outdoor Oklahoma included some real trophies and treasures. We went pronghorn hunting in the panhandle, picked up trash along the Arkansas River, learned to Hunt Mushrooms and went behind the scenes at the Bassmaster Classic 2016. This season allowed us to catch Trophy Bluegill on Doc Hollis Lake, hunt turkey on a Drummon Teacher Turkey Hunt, we learned ODWC Management Projects, learned how to catch fish on Grand River with the folks from Fishing Notebook, and we even followed Todd Craighead as he fished with a little angler named Ryan. We learned how to catch Striped bass on Keystone Lake, catch Stripers on the Red River, went fishing on an Oklahoma Pond, and learned how the ODWC Game Warden's are using social media how to fight poachers. To finish up the season we learned how the ODWC is educating our state's youth in with Outdoor Education, how one Fly Fisher is giving back through fly fishing and Project Healing Waters, we were introduced to the New ODWC Director, JD Strong, and went on a bio-survey on Cookson WMA, went Hunting with Kids, and tagged along with the Daugherty family as they went Pheasant Hunting. 2015 Season of Outdoor Oklahoma

The 2015 season of Outdoor Oklahoma took us on a journey. We learned about an Oklahoma meteorologist, Lacey Swope and her love for the outdoors, went fishing for stripers during the winter, had a Historic Flood, learned how Cedar Lake Manages Trophy bass and Blue Catfish on Texoma, went on a Tall Grass Prairie baseline research, learned how to get primed for Turkey Season, catch Crappie in Springtime, Catch Hybrid Striped Bass, we learned how to to make our own DIY Softbaits and went fishing on Pine Creek Lake, went fishing on New Spiro Lake, had a 40th Anniversary Special, made a bow with a Caddo Tribe historian and member, Phil Cross, Made a Knife, went Smallmouth bass Survey and Wintertime bass Fishing, hunted for Ducks with the DU, learned the importance of Mentoring and Trail Cameras, learned how to get started Bird Watching and how to build an Eastern Bluebird nest box, and went duck hunting on the Sequoyah NWR.
