STEP 1: What Are Controlled Hunts?

Awarded to applicants selected in a random drawing, controlled hunts are held in situations where unrestricted hunting would pose safety concerns or where over harvest might occur. Several of the controlled hunt choices are highly sought after and often have many times more applicants than available permits.

CATEGORY 1: Elk Hunts
CATEGORY 2: Antelope Hunts
CATEGORY 3: Deer Hunts
CATEGORY 4: Deer Hunts for Motor Vehicle or Non-Ambulatory Permittees
CATEGORY 5: Youth Deer Hunts
CATEGORY 6: 2010 Pursuit With Hounds (Raccoon Hunts)
CATEGORY 7: Spring 2010 Turkey Hunts
CATEGORY 8: Youth Spring 2010 Turkey Hunts
CATEGORY 9: Quail Hunts

The only method for applying will be via the Internet.
