Primitive Campsite

Primitive campsite will include flint knapping demonstrations by Department employees John Stahl and Darold Hunter and Neil Garrison.

Try your hand at primitive spear tossing, stick-tossing and tomahawk tossing. (Must be at least 5 ft. tall to try your hand at tomahawk tossing and NO OPEN-TOE Shoes.)

Enjoy watching experts of primitive craft build bows, arrows, knives and quivers.

Participate in the Basketweaving make n take. Make a small willow basket. Participants must be 12 years or older.
