Primitive Campsite

Primitive campsite will include flint knapping demonstrations by Department employees John Stahl and Darold Hunter and Martin Nature Park Nature Center’s Neil Garrison.

Try your hand at primitive spear tossing, stick-tossing and tomahawk tossing. (Must be at least 5 ft. tall to try your hand at tomahawk tossing)

Enjoy watching experts of primitive craft build bows, arrows, knives and quivers.

Participate in the Basketweaving make n take. Make a small willow basket. Participants must be 12 years or older.
