About the Wild Side Newsletter
“The Wild Side e-Extra” is a FREE publication of the Department’s Wildlife Diversity Program. The newsletter provides information about wildlife-viewing events; common, declining and endangered wildlife species; citizen-participation opportunities; OK Department of Wildlife Conservation projects and more.
Newsletter recipients receive early notification about the Selman Bat Watch – the state’s only public, Mexican free-tailed bat flight viewing each July. Recipients also receive links to view the Winter Bird Survey form and results from the previous year’s survey.
