Forty-two applicants between the ages of 14-16 participated in activities all  week which included training, lectures, shooting guns and bows, ropes course and many other activities.

Donors play a vital role in the ongoing excellence of this summer experience. NRA Foundation, Grand National Quail Foundation, Oklahoma State Game Warden Association,  Friends of NRA and Conoco Inc. were major players. ODWC provided vehicles, manpower and publicity.
