This field day is a free educational opportunity created especially for hunters, private landowners and citizens
wishing to learn about improving habitat for white-tailed deer, wild turkeys and other native wildlife in northeast
Oklahoma. The event is held in cooperation with Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, Oklahoma State
University Cooperative Extension, Oklahoma Forestry Services, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service,
Noble Research Institute, Pheasants Forever, Inc. and Quail Forever and is supported by
Oklahoma NWTF State Chapter. Come enjoy the day with us on Cherokee WMA, 31,360 acres
of rolling hills covered with oak-hickory timber in southwestern Cherokee County.
