
2019 March Rack Madness will be on March 5 from 1pm to 8pm at the ODWC headquarters.
Walk-ins are welcome but you can also pre-register here through the new Go Outdoors Oklahoma online system.
Seminars:
- 1:00 - DIY Deer Rack Scoring - Learn on how to score a rack for yourself with just a few simple tools. Hear from the experts on what it takes to measure a typical or non-typical trophy right down to an eighth of an inch.
- 3:00 - Deer Aging - You've heard that hunter's in the know let young bucks grow, but just how do you tell a young buck from an old buck? This seminar will help with trips and tricks for estimating a deer's age on the hoof and show you how to read tooth wear to ensure you are knowledgeable deer manager before, during and after every hunt.
- 5:00 - Field Trophy Care - Don't wait till you have a deer of a lifetime on the ground to learn how to take care of your trophy. This seminar will take you step by step through a live demonstration of caping out a deer and give you all the information you need to either do it yourself or make you your taxidermist's favorite customer. This seminar will be led by Wade Free, Wildlife Department Assistant Director and accomplished taxidermist.

Operation Game Thief
The Operation Game Thief exhibit trailer will be on display, which includes that popular "Wall of Shame" featuring wildlife that was stolen from law-abiding sportsmen and sportswomen of the state.
Prizes
One lucky participant will win a free lifetime combination hunting/fishing license. Everyone who brings a rack will be eligible to win this $775 value prize courtesy of the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation. Drawing held at 6:00p.m., must be present to win. Winner may transfer prize to eligible resident.
Everyone who brings something for scoring will get a free one-year subscription to Outdoor Oklahoma, the Official Wildlife Department Magazine. All visitors can enter an hourly drawing for a free updated Wildlife Management Area Atlas, a $25 value.
