Location: Lake Chambers is located in Beaver County 18 miles west of Lavern (S13&24,T3N,R26E). Vegetation around the lake is shortgrass high plains type.
Driving Directions: From Laverne – 16 miles west on E0210, 1 mile north on N1580, 2 miles west on E0200.
Recreational Facilities: The lake has one boat ramp, no picnicking or camping facilities, two latrines, and one water well. Laverne is the nearest town in which to obtain picnic and fishing supplies. Anglers can expect good bass and channel catfish fishing and the opportunity to take crappie, white bass and bluegill.
Lake History: Lake Chambers was constructed by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation in 1965.

Description of Fish Management Practices:
Hunting: All forms of hunting are permitted during open hunting seasons from September 1 through spring turkey season. Hunting is restricted to shotguns and bows only. These lakes are closed to antlerless deer harvest, except during archery season. Hunting and shooting other than provided above is prohibited. “Closed areas” may be designated for purposes of safety and/or security.
