U.S. Corps of Engineers manages campgrounds and boat ramps.

Walleye are stocked and brush piles are put into the lake for fish habitat.

Easy access to the water's edge is available in many of the public-use areas. The concrete walk along the spillway is also accessible.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Excellent on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, small lures, tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels, riprap, standing timber.

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel Good on crawfish, cut bait, goldfish, shad, sunfish around flats, river channel, river mouth.

Paddlefish Excellent on snagging around below the dam, river channel.
