Wister Lake (Google Map) is located two miles south of the town of Wister on US 270.
U.S. Corps of Engineers and Oklahoma State Parks manage campgrounds with full RV hookups and boat ramps. ODWC manages primitive camping sites and two boat ramps throughout on the Wister Wildlife Management Area.

Oct 4. Elevation is 3 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 82°F and stained. (USACE Current Lake Level)
Bass, Largemouth Excellent on crankbaits, spinnerbaits around brush structure, creek channels, river channel.
Catfish, Blue Good on cut bait, shad around main lake, river channel.
Crappie, White Good on jigs, minnows around brush structure, main lake, river channel.
