Management Practices

Fish surveys are conducted every five years. Brush piles are put in the lake for fish habitat in addition to fish stockings.

Area Specific Fishing Regulations

Daily/Size Limits:

Walleye, sauger and saugeye: six combined per day/18-inch minimum.

Methods:

Prohibited methods: bowfishing, gigging, spearing, spearguns, snagging, and noodling within the Little River upstream of Franklin Road in Cleveland County.

Saugeye Good on crankbaits, grubs, sassy shad around points.

Crappie, White Fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows around coves, standing timber.

Bass, White Fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits around dam.
