Online Auction Bidding Closes June 20

June 5, 2017

More than two dozen pickups are up for bids until 10 a.m. June 20 in the Wildlife Department's surplus property auction online at

Bidding is now open for more than 80 items in an online auction of Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation surplus property. Potential bidders can see the list of auction items and photos online at

The Wildlife Department began conducting surplus property auctions on the Internet about two years ago, and the process has proved to be more efficient and more convenient for bidders.

Auction vehicles include 26 pickups and several four-wheelers. Details about each vehicle are provided in the online listing. Several lots of merchandise are also up for bid, including tractor mowing implements, automotive parts and a canoe.

Bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. June 20, however bidding may be extended for items that are particularly active in generating bids.

Johnny Hill, property manager for the Wildlife Department, said vehicles are always popular among bidders. "All of our auction vehicles undergo scheduled maintenance from the time we get them new to the time we sell them. And anyone who buys something in our auction will be supporting the Wildlife Department at the same time."

Bidders must register with the online auction site before bidding. A 10 percent buyers' premium will be added to all winning bids to arrive at the final price. Other auction details, terms and conditions are available at the auction website.

Items are sold to the highest bidder as-is, where-is. Potential bidders may inspect items by appointment only by contacting the person listed in the "Auction Details" tab on the auction web page. Anyone wanting to inspect a pickup in person may contact Hill at or (405) 919-9863 or Chris Wolfe at or (405) 508-1231. For more information, call (405) 521-4600 or (405) 522-5072.
