The Oklahoma BASS Federation Nation presents

Bassmaster CastingKids 

Federation Nation volunteers will teach contestants in two age groups
(7 to 10 and 11-14) to flip, pitch and cast a hook-less lure to a bulls-eye
target.  Zebco rods and reels are used by all the contestants and scoring is
based on a point system.  A parent or guardian must be present to fill in
registration forms for children that wish to enter the competition. 
Competition sessions will be held:

 Friday: 12 noon – 3 pm and 3 pm – 6pm

Saturday:  8 am - noon, noon – 3 pm and 3 pm – 6pm

State winners will represent Oklahoma at a semifinal competition in
Florida in January.  Travel assistance will be provided for State winners. 
Two contenders from each of six divisions advance to the National
Championship at the Bassmaster Classic in Greenville, South Carolina in
February.  Finalists compete for $21,000 in college scholarship money.
