Fishing Reports

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Copan Lake Report

Hulah Lake Report

Oologah Lake Report

Jul 3. Elevation is 4 ft. above normal (falling), water temperature 78°F and stained.

Bass, Largemouth Good on plastic baits around brush structure, points.

Paddlefish Fair on snagging around below the dam.

Catfish, Channel Good on chicken liver, cut bait around coves, inlet, riprap.

Lower Illinois River PFHA Report

Jul 1. Elevation is 11 ft. above normal (stable), water temperature 62°F and stained.

Trout, Rainbow Good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, PowerBait, worms around below the dam, other.

Comments: Water flow still around the clock at 3900 cfs.
