Bidding is now open for an online auction of surplus vehicles and equipment from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Potential bidders can view and bid on auction items at https://www.purplewave.com/auction/240910A.
The Wildlife Department is auctioning surplus vehicles and equipment to the public. The Department has 20 vehicles, one trailer, one boat, and some miscellaneous equipment for this event at PurpleWave.com.
"Agency vehicles are routinely maintained from when they are purchased new until they are turned in for replacement, and are popular items among bidders," said Daniel Griffith, property manager for the Wildlife Department.
Bidding is open now for anyone interested and will begin to close at 10 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024. Bidders must register with the online auction site before bidding. A 10% buyer's premium will be added to all winning bids to arrive at the final price. Other auction details, terms, and conditions are found on the auction website.
Items are sold to the highest bidder as-is, where-is. All items are located at Oklahoma City headquarters and will be available for inspection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at 1801 N. Lincoln Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73152.

The sale of these items helps bring back funds into the Department to help purchase new vehicles and equipment, or to fund projects. Those who purchase these items directly help fund the Wildlife Department and its activities to conserve fish and wildlife.
