Fishing Reports

We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Trout, Rainbow Excellent on in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, punch bait, spoons around creek channels, river channel, rocks.

Comments: Drifting powerbait under a small indicator or bobber has been producing lot of fish for bait anglers. This also helps to not snag on the bottom. Worms, egg patterns, and size 12-18 beadhead nymphs have also been doing well for fly fisherman. 3/16-1/4 oz metallic spoons have been a very productive lure as well.
