We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted. If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.

Additional Information:
Fall fishing patterns are in full swing with dead sticking starting up and crappie stacked under docks. Striper are being caught on Live Bait with some dead sticking ( will keep getting better with colder temperatures. Striped Bass in 20-30 ft of water on ledges, fishing on drift seems to be best method. Crappie under docks in 18-25ft of water hitting black/pink green/black jigs. Blues are being caught on cut bait and shad, big pieces of cut bait means big fish.
