Lower Mountain Fork River Trout Area Report

Apr 22. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 58°F and clear.

Trout, Brown, Trout, Rainbow Good on in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, plastic baits, small lures, worms around channels, discharge, river channel, rocks, spillway.

Broken Bow Lake Report

Catfish, Channel Good on crawfish, cut bait, punch bait around docks, shallows.

Trout, Rainbow Fair on in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait around channels.

Comments: The river has remained stable and relatively clear despite the recent rains.

Texoma Report

Apr 19. Elevation is 3 ft. above normal (stable), water temperature 68°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level)

Bass, Striped Fair on live shad, shad around below the dam, main lake, points.

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel, Catfish, Flathead Fair on cut bait, dough bait, live shad around below the dam, channels, coves, points.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Good on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, standing timber.

Comments: Fishing this week has been good and some days are tough. They are biting on live bait. Catfish are good on live bait near ledges and channels. Crappie are biting on jigs with power bait near brush piles and on the banks near rocks.
