Sep 25. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 80°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass Fair on bill baits, buzz baits, in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, jigs, minnows, other around brush structure, riprap, rocks, shorelines. Texoma Report
Sep 27. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 82°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped Bass Good on live shad, sassy shad, slabs, topwater lures around channels, points. Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish Fair on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait around below the dam, coves, river mouth. Black Crappie, White Crappie Fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, points, standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been about the same as last week.Striper continue to bite on live shad and top water lures. Fall fishing is looking good. Catfish are biting on cut bait and punch bait around baited holes and cleaning stations. Crappie are biting on jigs and hair jigs around brush piles in open water. And around docks with brush piles.
