Aug 21. Elevation is Normal and stable, water temperature 72°F and clear. Trout, Rainbow Fair on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, PowerBait, worms around below the dam, shallows, shorelines. Aug 16. Elevation is Normal and stable, water temperature 85°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Bass, Striped Fair on live shad, sassy shad, slabs around channels, main lake, points, river channel. Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel, Catfish, Flathead Fair on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait around below the dam, docks, river channel, river mouth. Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on caddis flies, hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, coves, docks, rocks, standing timber. Comments: Fishing this week has been okay. Striper are being caught on live shad and trolling sassy shad. They are being caught in between the Roosevelt and railroad bridge. As well as near Washita point and the islands. Catfish are being caught near baited holes, and cleaning stations with punch bait and cut bait. Crappie are being caught around Bridges with brush and round dock with the brush piles.
