Fishing Report Timing
We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round, but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted.
If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time, you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.
Blue River PFHA Report
Oct 6. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 75°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level)
Channel Catfish Good on chicken liver, stinkbait, worms around brush structure, channels, rocks.
Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass Good on crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits, plastic baits, topwater lures, tube jigs around brush structure, channels, rocks, shorelines, weed beds.

Keystone Lake Report
Oct 5. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 71°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level)
Blue Catfish Good on cut bait, live bait, live shad around below the dam, main lake.
Black Crappie, White Crappie Fair on jigs, minnows around brush structure, main lake.
Largemouth Bass Good on in-line spinnerbaits, jerk baits, jigs, live bait, plastic baits, spinnerbaits around brush structure, docks, main lake, points, standing timber.

Grand Lake Report
Oct 4. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 78°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level)
Largemouth Bass Good on crankbaits, plastic baits, spinnerbaits around brush structure, docks, rocks, shorelines.
Blue Catfish Fair on cut bait, shad around below the dam, docks, main lake, river channel.
White Bass Fair on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs around below the dam, main lake, points.

Konawa Report
Oct 4. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 88°F and clear.
Largemouth Bass Good on crankbaits, plastic baits around main lake, points, river channel, weed beds.
Striped Hybrid Bass, White Bass Good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, live shad around inlet, main lake, river channel.
Channel Catfish Good on chicken liver, cut bait around inlet, riprap, rocks, weed beds.

Lower Illinois River PFHA Report
Oct 4. Elevation is Normal (stable), water temperature 74°F and clear.
Rainbow Trout Slow on midges, nymphs, PowerBait, spoons, worms around below the dam, shallows, shorelines.
Comments: Fishing slow due to warmer water, low oxygen and lack of trout stocking

Texoma Report
Oct 4. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 81°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level)
Striped Bass Good on live shad, topwater lures around channels, main lake, points.
Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish Good on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait around below the dam, channels, docks.
Black Crappie, White Crappie Good on caddis flies, jigs, minnows around brush structure, coves, docks.
Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Striper are biting well on live shad and topwater lures. Catfish are biting on punch bait and cut bait near baited holes or cleaning docks. Crappie are good near brush piles near coves on jigs and minnows.

Rainbow Trout Good on tube jigs, worms around below the dam, creek channels, spillway.
