Fishing Reports
We know that fishing in Oklahoma can be good nearly all year round, but the peak time for most species and anglers is March to June, which is when we require reports to be submitted.
If there is a particular lake you would like to know about during the non-required report time, you can contact the county game warden or a local bait shop to check on the lake conditions before heading out.
Skiatook Report

Texoma Report

Bass, Striped Good on live shad around channels, main lake, points.
Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel, Catfish, Flathead Good on cut bait, dough bait, PowerBait, punch bait, stinkbait around below the dam, channels, docks, main lake, river channel.
Crappie, Black, Crappie, White Fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, nymphs around brush structure, docks, points, standing timber.
Comments: Fishing this week has been good. Striper continue to bite well on live shad around ledges and channels. They are also being caught in deeper water suspended in 25 to 35ft. Catfish are good on live bait and cut bait around channels and close to the river mouth . Crappie are biting on minnows and jigs and suspended brush and in open water stumps and brush piles.
